GeoGenetics research project nominated for videnskab.dk award

First author Philip F. Thomsen and co-authors Jos Kielgast, Lars L. Iversen, Carsten Wiuf, Morten Rasmussen, M. Thomas P. Gilbert, Ludovic Orlando and Eske Willerslev have been nominated for the Danish science portal videnskab.dk's 'Research project of the year 2012'.

The nomination is based on their work leading to the publication Monitoring endangered freshwater biodiversity using environmental DNA (Thomsen PF, Kielgast J, Iversen LL, Wiuf C, Rasmussen M, Gilbert MTP, Orlando L, Willerslev E (2011): Monitoring Endangered Freshwater Biodiversity using Environmental DNA.
